Katjes Chocjes: Vegan Chocolate Conquers TikTok and Instagram with Creator Content
Task
Develop an effective social media strategy for the launch of Chocjes, the vegan chocolate from Katjes, one of the top three confectionery manufacturers in Germany. The focus was on establishing the product on the TikTok and Instagram platforms and appealing to environmentally conscious and young consumers.
Challenge
The biggest challenge was to select and coordinate the right content creators who authentically represented the values of Katjes and the unique aspects of Chocjes. In addition, the message of sustainability had to be communicated in a credible and appealing way to differentiate from conventional chocolate products.
Execution
Our strategy was based on authentic, vibrant content created by selecting content creators who showcased Chocjes in their Instagram stories and TikTok videos. These creators were chosen based on their reach and engagement with eco-friendly topics.
Outcome
The social media campaign resulted in high levels of engagement, quickly raising the profile of Katjes Chocjes. The combination of authentic endorsements from creators who enjoy Katjes coupled with the sustainable message led to a significant increase in online sales and enhanced customer loyalty.
